The garden has sandy well draining soil. Located on the East, it gets half of morning sun and a bit of afternoon sun. Two months a year Dec-Feb there is no sun in that garden at all. It is surrounded by three walls, one is brick and another two on sides are concrete walls. The concrete wall in the North point of the garden gets heated up very fast during the summer. The opposite wall gets most of the shade, and that corner of the garden does not get any sun at all. We plan to built dog toilet there, since we have an elderly dog for whom it is hard to hold especially during hot summer days. Half of the yard if covered by wooden cover, supported by two poles.
