natasha, My Garden (KT13)

Styles: Contemporary, Exotic, Rural

We have completely re-landscaped our garden (I say 'we'... Husband cuts things down.. I plant them!) Really enjoyed doing it and learnt so much as I was a complete novice when I started. It was originally a very cottage style garden and full of shade and moss. Everything was overgrown and struggling for light. We have moved, trimmed, removed and planted almost the whole garden now - though it still a work in progress.

About me
Love gardening and plants - still quite new to it all and by no means an expert like most here!

Gardening expertise
Very Keen

Biggest gardening accomplishments
Moving a 9ft tall, 25 year old Camelia tree by heavy machinery and actually seeing it survive! We sooo thought it wouldnt work!

Biggest gardening frustrations
SLUGS!!!! Slugs gross me out totally!!!! And I hate that they eat my lovely plants! Next Spring they are gonna get eaten by the nematodes!!! I'm stocking up!

The gardening project I am currently working on
Building a new house at the moment so the entire garden has been re turfed (as we laid a ground source heat pump under the lawn) and so I am slowly landscaping the bottom of garden and when house is done have the front to do! About 1/3rd acre!
