About me
I have been gardening for nearly 20 years and have redeveloped gardens in our own houses and for friends.
Gardening expertise
Very Keen
Biggest gardening accomplishments
Converting a derelict, overgrown piece of land (50ft x 100ft) into a potager with raised beds and a small orchard underplanted with wild flowers.
Biggest gardening frustrations
I planted some favourite Japanese maples I'd grown on in pots from our last house, which died one by one over several years. The ground has fusarium wilt, which can't be treated.
The gardening project I am currently working on
Redesign and replanting the main border including some favourite plants - cornus (Alternifolia and Miss Satomi) strawberry trees (Unedo and Andrachnoides). Trying out Eleutherococcus in a dry shade spot that's difficult to plant.
