About me
Well past retirement but still working, Able to take things a bit easier at this time of year otherwise not able to spend a lot of time in garden. Long thin garden divided into 3, basically 1. flowers and shrubs 2.greenhouse surrounded by pea gravel 3 fruit and veg. Using an arch and a gate have tried to make it desirable to keep going forward to explore what may be on the other side. Having been ripped off by some builders from Northhants earlier this year, I now have half a conservatory which is a bit of a blot, so I have thrown myself into planting in order to take my eye and my mind off the mess. I'm going to run out of flower garden soon at the present rate so there will be pots galore on the patio, on the gravel, in the greenhouse or wherever I can find a space.

Gardening expertise
Very Keen

Biggest gardening accomplishments
Have actually managed to plant my bulbs at the right time for the first time. Laid a patio, lawn and installed a rose arch sadly all of which I shall have to replace in the near future, although I enjoy the mobility of gardening. I wouldn't like a garden that stayed the same always.

Biggest gardening frustrations
SNAILS and SLUGS. Not being able to do some of the bigger jobs like digging out paths or putting in fence posts or finishing my conservatory!

The gardening project I am currently working on
Hoping to raise the level of the lawn and lower the level of the patio and have a small wall and some steps. Will have to replace the rose arch which is metal and has rusted through. Will be rustic next time and a friend is coming to do it, but I expect I
