About me
Sloping garden, S.facing, alkaline. Front garden includes 30'+ Holly tree (which the birds love all year and strip of berries by the end of Nov.!), Daphne Eximia, Lavender and Geranium provide ground cover. 10' x 6' is interwoven with thick prickly shrub that is home for wildlife. A log pile under the holly, wisteria against the wall, sweetpeas and a passion flower over the doorarch.
Back garden. 2 old of unknown origin lilac, cotoneaster, 4 fruit bushes, 2 ornamental oranges, an Indian Bean Tree, a tree Peony, Daphnes do well, heathers, 2/3 other trees 2 patches of grass kept a little long because frogs worms grasshoppers and adders seen to like it that way. I don't like plants that only look good I think they should have scent and a garden must work for ME not ME for the garden!!
