We dug up a crazy paving/concrete front south facing garden and replaced it with a gravel parking area (for 2 cars) and 3 flower beds. The beds around the path are relections, not symmetrical; the 3rd bed along the fence has not yet been planted. Plants are box hedging & balls, lavender (hidcote and old english), thymes and roses. Sweet peas were added on canes to add height this year. It's a scented garden and also copes well with the hot summer weather. Plan to add bulbs (crocus, alliums, agapanthus) to add interest. There is not a published plan for this garden yet.
There are no plants in the wish list for this garden.
About me
I love gardens and gardening! I always lived a flat and nowhere to grow things, but now have 2 adjacent half sized allotment plots (one since 2006, the other since 2010). I moved into a house in December 2009 and have created a front garden and planning what to do with the back garden. My allotment blog is at http://allotmentsandotherstuff.blogspot.com/
