About me
I`m in my 70`s retired and taking more interest in gardening. My hubby has helped a lot restructuring the garden putting in a pond, steps and taking up the lawns, but he leaves the planting and care to me. I`m afraid it has been mostly hit and miss but I find I`m learning more and more as I go along. For years it was just a long narrow garden with lawns either side of a central path which was fine when the children were all growing up. Since finishing work and the children having flown the coup we have taken up the lawns and now we have gravel pathways meandering between beds and a fish pond with waterfall. I have no knowledge of such when it comes to garden design it just seems to evolve.
Gardening expertise
Keen but Clueless
Biggest gardening accomplishments
Changing from plain square lawns to gravel pathways and beds, and building a waterfall and pond.
Biggest gardening frustrations
Not always remembering names of plants.
The gardening project I am currently working on
Putting in new planting in the west facing bed and adding a hand rail to the steps leading from the patio and a new small waterfeature at the side of the patio...
