About me
I am a retired Architect and keen gardener with a special interest in fruit and shrubs. I have a small business designing and building gardens and landscape features as well as a small vineyard on the Isle of Wight. I have worked in Luxembourg for several years and currently I am a Committee member of the Barbados Horticultural Society in Barbados.

Gardening expertise

Biggest gardening accomplishments
A new town garden just completed incorporating a lawn with borders, fruit trees, raised beds, bamboo screen, ramps and shed. Several screens surround the garden providing ideal structures for climbing plants and for trained fruit including grapevines, plum, cherry and apple trees.

Biggest gardening frustrations
waiting for the weather to clear and digging in clay!

The gardening project I am currently working on
A new large sloping garden in Germany that will be terraced to provide a number of different themes on different levels with a woodland backdrop. In Barbados I am involved in organizing a Landscape Trade Show for the Barbados Horticultural Society and I help out with Open Gardens scheme.
