Stevie, Mini Pond Garden (GU22)

I love the bright colours of beach holidays and I love the peace and calm of Japanese gardens. Call it an unusual mix but this garden is a fusion of both styles. The ground cover needs to mature in this garden (moss and mind-your-own- business) but it is developing well. These pictures are taken in winter so the Tree Ferns are still wrapped up. I'll update the pictures as it develops.

About me
I have been working on my current garden for 15 years. I like to mix the traditional and the new in the garden. To satisfy my apetite for variety I have broken my garden into several rooms all in a different style. You can view each room by clicking on the links below under the heading 'Stevie's Gardens'.

Gardening expertise
Very Keen

Biggest gardening accomplishments
Doing all the landscaping myself from scratch. The only thing I didn't do was lay the turf.

Biggest gardening frustrations
Never enough time at the weekends

The gardening project I am currently working on
Increasing the volume of the planting and working on making the garden look more lush.
