About me
Retired water resource engineer, having worked internationally. Current interests include history, plants and technology, for our local U3A and my son's property at Hockwold. My own flower/vegetable garden is at Stretham, near Ely, whilst I act as head gardener for my son.

Gardening expertise

Biggest gardening accomplishments
Maintaining a database of plants (now approaching 3000) that I have grown, or become interested in, over 40 years. I propagate a lot of plants from seed.

Biggest gardening frustrations
Lack of time and diminishing energy to do all I want.

The gardening project I am currently working on
Cataloging all the plants in my son's garden, whilst dealing with its inherited problems (eg ground elder and pruning).
