I am pretty much a beginner trying to go for a tropical theme with palms, bananas, bamboo and yuccas. The focus point of the garden is a raised stone Buddha with a water fountain underneath. I bought several new daring plants this year and am a bit worried whether they will survive. The leaves of me palms all have brown tips and my bamboos are more yellow than green. Not sure what's wrong. Can't be too little water. There is not a published plan for this garden yet.
About me
German living in South London.
I have a small town garden with a tropical theme: a mixture of palms, yuccas, bamboos and bananas. It's my second year and some of the plants did not survive our last unsually harsh winter. This year I spent quite a lot of money on new plants but I am not sure about the right care, in particular getting the watering right. Many of my palms and yuccas have leaves with brown tips. Not sure what to do...
