A new house with turf laid by developers. The garden is enclosed by a 2.5 metre brick wall to the rear and right side. The left side is enclosed by the brick garage wall and a 2 metre wooden feather board fence. Topsoil had been removed so what was left was mainly clay and builders rubble. We commissioned a garden design from Sue Davis of Outside Rooms and the hard landscaping was carried out by Creative Gardens and Driveways. The builders rubble and clay was removed and in the planting areas replaced with organic soil. We planted climbers, a fan apple, a fan cherry and a vine in November 2010.The main planting of 105 plants began in April 2011.Tip: Click zoom out button above to see entire garden plan
