My garden is tiny but a little shady, quiet piece in the middle of busy Rotterdam. We moved in (May 2009), it was nothing but a pile of rubbish and weeds, with some very dodgy looking soil. With the help of friends and family we quickly stripped everything away and salvaged some paving stones and from then it has become a garden of trial and error - what can cope with the almost constant shade, the poor/shallow soil and of course - the cat!Tip: Click zoom out button above to see entire garden plan

About me
First gardening patch was a two metre square "rockery" in my parents back garden at the age of 4! Thirty-odd years later I've progressed to a thirty metre square garden with sun for less than an hour a day in winter! I'm so lucky!
