I set up my gardening business in February 2011 and I absolutely love it! The first year of business was great. In my second year of business I launched the bespoke Dingly Dells™ and registered the trademark. I am now in my fifth year of business and focusing on garden design with a new home and business relocation to Baldock in North Hertfordshire in 2015. Dingly Dells are beautiful bespoke garden retreats, secluded havens that incorporate evergreens and seasonal interest perennial planting. The bespoke planting plans are very well received by my clients, as are the care calendars with Shoot Gardening. If you would like to discuss rejuvenating your garden with a design rethink or a new planting scheme, then do please contact me at www.judisamuelsgardendesign.co.uk.
Biggest gardening accomplishments
Giving clients the gardens they want, bringing them joy and inspiration through meaningful design and planting that brings them a renewed connection to their garden and nature.
The gardening project I am currently working on
I am currently designing a container garden, the site is on a slope, so my design is based on creating a timber deck on three levels. This garden will have a feature tree grow up from the ground, through a circular aperture in the top deck. All 3 decks will have a combination of containerised planting, rattan furniture and a timber framed pond with water feature. The garden boundary will be finished off with willow screening. This garden will connect to an extended patio which will lead to a newly designed cottage garden adjacent to the property.
