About me
I am 68YoA and retired from Transport Operation and Caribbean Restaurant that I ran for 6yrs before taking ill with diabetes,I am a keen photographer of wild flowers, i spent a lot of time in 2010 seeking the perfect dandelion "clock" My social scene is travel and visiting gardens around the world taking photos, I now decided to develop my own garden into a photo opportunity environment with traditional plants with a bias in wild flowers. I am having problem with plants name and pronouncement but I am learning fast,hoping that this community the shoot family of friends will help.

Biggest gardening accomplishments
Planning and planting a wild flower meadow (approx 1m x 2m) raised bed in the rear of my garden, to-date among other unknown plant to me I have:Knapweed,Harebell,Scabious,Cranesbill and some unknown. The meadow is active and lively with bees, no butterflies as yet, I am so please with myself and will be putting together some photo album .

Biggest gardening frustrations
Knowing what to plant in the shady-area of the garden.

The gardening project I am currently working on
My plan for 2012 is to overcome issues I have in knowing what to plant in the shandy- area of my garden, which is about 30% of my planting area. To take a dynamic photo of a giant thistle flower head with "ladybird" I am currently growing the thistle
