Newly dug from a field in 2007, very exposed & windy and extremely sticky soil. Large L-shaped perennial border. Shelter hedge planted 2008 in the south west corner. A Summerhouse and pergola. Hanging basket frames and standing out beds. Alongside a commercial greenhouse. Gravel paths and a large patio. Fenced to keep the rabbits and hares out - a big problem! There is not a published plan for this garden yet.

About me
I work for a wholesale plug plant company called Young Plants Limited, and our trial garden is the garden you see here. I started as trials supervisor, following a spell as a trials person with another company. I went back to college to re-train in Commercial Horticulture when I was 30. I trained to HND level at Pershore College. I also briefly worked as a Park Ranger, with responsibility for renovating the Community Garden in Banbury. A very worthwhile and rewarding project!

The gardening project I am currently working on
My own cut flower garden - I am very excited about this project. I would like it to be self supporting, and eventually for it to be my retirement fund (!) Am currently trying to set it all up... watch this space...!
