Small housing estate garden 20'x50' clay soil in the Severn vale about half a mile as the crow flies from the river Severn doesn't sound ideal but it's my own personal paradise Been here from the start when we were left with an area of brown wet mud for a garden (18 years ago ) Learnt -mostly by trial & error -what to grow(and what not!-at least not directly in the ground)
