At the moment my concrete yard does not resemble any form of garden. Im hoping to try and change the yard into an year round green space through using innovative planting solutions due to space restrictions and due to the yard being north facing. Im also hoping to design and construct a retractable roof for the eventual garden so that we can enjoy the space throughout the year.Tip: Click zoom out button above to see entire garden plan
About me
I've inherited my grandfathers keen interest in the garden and I enjoy growing and creating exciting green spaces from virtually nothing.
Im currently developing ideas for my small yard and also growing all sorts at my mother and mother in law's garden, which i sometimes get in trouble for when they have no space for their own projects, Oops!!
My partner has no interest in gardening but she will.....
Gardening expertise
Very Keen
Biggest gardening accomplishments
My grandfather used to grow standard fuchsias for shows when I was was a child, I have now decided to continue in his footsteps and have been growing standard fuchsias for 3 years now!
Biggest gardening frustrations
Need more space, would like to own an allotment for growing vegetables and fruit, instead of being shouted at for turning half of the mother in-laws garden over!!
The gardening project I am currently working on
Turning the small concrete dominated yard into an interesting and pleasant green space.
