About me
I trained with John Brookes once my children were at school or older and practiced garden design in the West of Ireland, with occasional forays to Dublin. The economic crash has been been both reason and excuse for retiring, though I still advise former clients if they need help. At last I have time time to tend my own garden, and am writing a book as well doing my 'day' job of being PA to my husband. I'm passionate about trees, design, plants, dogs and also find people amazing ..... though of course, a small minority are amazing in the wrong way...! My garden and design hero is John Brookes, who has constantly been ahead of his time whilst never sacrificing beauty for sensationalism. I am happily married to a lawyer though miss three of my four children who live abroad: 2 in Australia and 1 in South Africa, but no better places for an avid plant-person to visit!
