About me
Middle-aged single mum, happiest out in the garden - pottering. I have free-range hens fenced off in the top half of the garden, and I like to grow my own veg. Not much success, but I get enough satisfaction from having a go.... Fairly new to flowers.

Gardening expertise
Keen but Clueless

Biggest gardening accomplishments
Transplanting fabulous japanese acer from mum's garden into mine when she died. It's still looking great.

Biggest gardening frustrations
Heavy clay, and heavy rainfall equals an absolute bog !

The gardening project I am currently working on
The garden has been fenced in half, to exclude the hens, so - for the first time ever, I'm planting flowers (that won't get pecked to death!)
