About me
Have been a garden lover since childhood, though the more gardening I do the more I realise the skills I lack. When I first started gardening as an adult I was spoilt by the fact that my garden had been a pig farm hence everything I tried, grew! More recently, since gardening on stony London soil, much of it dry shade, I have had to go back to basics - the answer lies in the soil, the aspect and the gardener!

Gardening expertise
Very Keen

Biggest gardening accomplishments
Restoring my communal garden on a very tight budget from a 15 year neglected wilderness to something that resembles a woodland garden -

Biggest gardening frustrations
Dry Shade - whether from building or trees. I look with envy at those lovely sunny gardens with colourful arrays of sun loving flowers & veg.

The gardening project I am currently working on
Re-design, planting and upkeep of neighboruing 'Shady City Garden'
