The garden to rear of property has a patio that allows you to sit and enjoy the garden. It's walled to 2 sides and hedged on the fence side. As it's exposed to strong winds the walls and hedging help form a wind brake. The potting shed in top left of garden is used for growing seedlings. There are garden lights that light up the garden at night. Following a car crash into rear garden wall, 2016 priorities were replanting damaged plants and replacing trellis for climbers. The new plants have settled in well and most old plants and shrubs have recovered well.Tip: Click zoom out button above to see entire garden plan
About me
Bought house and started renovating the garden in 2003. Have always loved gardening and it helps to keep me fit. I love taking cuttings and people complimenting my garden but hate cats using my garden as a toilet....... I think gardens should evolve and change to allow some experimenting.
Gardening expertise
Very Keen
Biggest gardening accomplishments
my back garden which I've split in two (top and bottom) with the botom area being a patio area. I also have a small garden area to the front of my property and a 20 metre long side hedge garden to the side of my property.
Biggest gardening frustrations
weeds, cats and magpies.
The gardening project I am currently working on
nothing major at the moment apart from entering my plants in Shoot.
