The garden is L shaped with the house sitting along one side of the L in about 1/5 acre 500' above sea level. There are two large lawns with apple plum cherry rowan and horse chestnut trees. Entering the garden a stream runs alongside with water lilies a WEEPING willow tree iris and small banana plants and lots of foliage along the bank. A high bank runs along the end of the garden covered in heathers and shrubs and in front of this there are four main beds one containing vegetables and the others cottage garden plants. I am very fond of tall plants delphinium allium echinacea penstemon verbascum achillea and rudbeckia in colours of blue purple and orange and like to wander through the garden hidden at times > There are paths leading to hidden corners with driftwood and quirky seating placed to catch the sun and a patio surrounded with pots of geraniums
