The garden has five terraced levels sloping down. Each of the levels has a different character; with small trees on each - sorbus, acer , fruit etc & LOTS of seats & ornaments 1) top level near house: decking for entertaining ; Lots of evergreen perennials, ferns , pots, water features 2) Oriental feel with ponds & lots of foliage plants most of my bamboos here but also some on level 1& 3 ! 3) patch of grass; wildish; spring flowers, shrubs, greenhouse , fruit trees 4) Vegetable/fruit garden 5) Wildlife pond / utility/composting area I open at least once a year for a local charity..

About me
I moved to Herefordshire in 2002 to a long south-east-facing garden on five terraced levels - which as a late-career-change Garden Designer gave me ample opportunity to 'play' I am still playing - though no longer designing professionally. I open at least once a year for a local charity.. When not gardening I paint watercolours & attend meetings though am suposedly retired !
