About me
Lifelong gardener and former biomedical scientist with a Garden Design Diploma from Capel Manor. I have experience of developing and maintaining gardens on clay, chalk, acid and loamy soils. Now using my knowledge, skills and experience to coach others!

Gardening expertise

Biggest gardening accomplishments
After detailed discussion with clients, I can produce mood boards, 3D images, a Master plan, including construction drawings, and planting plans as required. I have planted and maintained gardens in Sussex on clay, in Bucks on chalk and more recently on acid soil in Norfolk, in addition to my own in Hertford. In recent years I have helped several families in Bucks, Hertford, Hatfield and Norwich develop their gardens. I propagate a variety of shrubs and perennials.

Biggest gardening frustrations
The mature wood at the top of my garden casts shadow on southeast facing garden for some of the day, but I've turned that into an opportunity for growing some shade loving species.
