Biggest gardening accomplishments
Working with a garden designer to design a garden for my Regency home, combining three areas: a traditional formal layout of buxus edged beds and a pool reflecting the dimensions of the house, a square lawn, and furthest from the house, a romantic planting area with taller shrubs. The layout is essentially rectangular with a line of mature cheery trees on one side, and a line of new Photinia Red Robin standard trees on the other. A large limestone patio and Portland stone chipping paths provide symmetry and structure. The hard-landscaping began in February 2014 and planting will be completed in May 2014.
