About me
I've been a keen gardener for over 20 years and I enjoy learning something new every day.
Gardening expertise
Very Keen
Biggest gardening accomplishments
Transforming my old garden, Kingfishers, which was weed-infested and covered in crazy paving, into an oasis in which to sit and relax - not that I ever did! Kingfishers was open under the National Gardens Scheme in 2010 and 2011.
Biggest gardening frustrations
So much to do, so little time!
The gardening project I am currently working on
My new garden, Railway Cottage, is a much smaller garden than Kingfishers, but was no less daunting. Luckily a previous owner invested in well-designed hard landscaping and I have begun transforming Railway Cottage from a garden full of overgrown shrubs and bamboo into a traditional cottage garden full of flowers. The journey continues!
