About me
Married, 6 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, loads of interests including painting and friends and of course gardening which I came to relatively late in life, did a distance learning course on Cottage Garden Design and attended a 'design your garden borders' short course amongst others, which I absolutely loved and discovered that not only do I enjoy learning but I also enjoy putting it into practice and have designed a garden which the owners are thrilled with. I am about to create my third garden as moving again shortly and really looking forward to the challenge of creating order out of a jungle.

Gardening expertise
Very Keen

Biggest gardening accomplishments
Transforming this garden from a sad bedraggled old shrubby place into this vibrant garden full of perennials, bulbs and annuals. Transplanted over 167 plants and most of them have survived, some taking over a year to settle in and such a pleasant surprise to see them appear when I thought they had died.

Biggest gardening frustrations
SNAILS! I think they think they are in paradise in our garden and I wage a constant war upon them and have tried virtually every product and tip there is. Now using Strulch - fabulous stuff.

The gardening project I am currently working on
Embarking on new walled garden which has been neglected for years sadly.
