South Facing and in full sun, well drained loam. Gravel garden mostly alpines and grasses North Facing shady area Holly trees, ferns and shade loving plants. Himalayan Blue poppies and various helebores and alstromerias. West facing border - perennial garden with tree peonies and roses.
