Gardening expertise
Very Keen

Biggest gardening accomplishments
Developed a 50ft shrub/herbaceous border from scrub land to lush border in 2 years. About 5 years ago I decided to study for the RHS General Horticulture qualification and did it at night school over 2 years. It was the best thing I ever did. I had been a keen gardener for many years, but knew nothing about the principles of gardening. What I gained from it was a cirle of like minded gardening friends and stopped me making so many mistakes in the garden.

Biggest gardening frustrations
I am a keen collector of Hostas so you can imagine my biggest frustration are slugs and snails. I've tried every remedy known to many to get rid of them but always welcome suggestions. Although I am nearly 100% organic I am afraid I do resort to Slug Clear liquid and start treating them on 14th February (Valentines Massacre!)

The gardening project I am currently working on
I am hoping to build a summer house/office this year and will be planning the planting around it.
