Pollicott Manor is a beautiful house set in 3-4 acres of land including a field. Formal gardens lie to the front and back of the house and include a Maze and Swimming Pool. There is a walled kitchen garden. The site is very windy and the brief was to make the formal gardens more interesting with the addition of herbaceous borders introducing more colour and excitement. The kitchen garden looked tired and the layout was not easy to work with. The garden was re-designed in 2009 and the work began in October of that year, to include a total re-vamp of the Kitchen Garden and introduction of a pathway leading to the swimming pool, new herbaceous borders and an overhaul of the front garden to give more interest and texture. The colour schemes are predominantly white and green, apart from the border leading to the maze entrance where more vibrant colour has been introduced.
