The garden was well stocked when I bought the house. Sun in the morning on the patio, in the evening by the summer house. I'm still working out what most of the plants are but I'm keen to learn. This is my escape.

About me
I'm a 52 year old, very novice gardener despite having a garden for about 30 years, mainly the plain modern gardens with little planting. I have bought a house with the biggest garden I have had yet. It is well stocked and mature. I'm keen to learn about the plants I have and now how to maintain them.

Gardening expertise
Newbie

Biggest gardening accomplishments
Most of my gardening accomplishments are more around laying flags and making gardens neater and easier to maintain. my knowledge of plants themselves is extremely limited.

Biggest gardening frustrations
Bindweed and bramble at the back of the garden.

The gardening project I am currently working on
The paving in the garden is very mismatched with a straight path down the centre to the bottom. I'm looking to redesign with a more curved path and extending the lawn so I have more space for the grandkids to play. This needs to be done on a very tight budget and I'm not afraid of hard and dirty work to keep the costs down.
