Soil types: Clay, Sandy

Light: Full Sun, Partial Shade

Aspect: South

My garden is south facing backing on to a farmers field. At the fore of the garden is the patio area with a border on the left of it the right side of te garden catches the early morning sun, but by 1pm the left side of the garden is in full sun. The right handside border is curved the left handside straight. On the top corner of the right border is a holly tree, (i would love to make this side of the garden a cottage garden) at the rear of the garden is a raises bed 5m long with a 20m conifer in the right corner, ( i would like to make this a wildlife/woodland planted area. i have no ideas for the right side yet, except for the bit by the patio area which i want to plant with very fragrant plants.
