Shoot's Childrens Garden Award

By publishing your school garden into our garden directory, you will be automatically eligible to win our new award for gardens involving children. The award winner will be announced on 21st September 2008 and will be based on the following criteria:

1. Overall impression, design and quality of the garden - the garden's visual impact and originality
2. Planting design - the use of colour, texture, association, relevance to the overall design, quality and finish
3. Children's involvement & learning - we will look at their comments and participation with the online gardening planning tools available with Shoot. Also any description by the children about what they have gained from the school's gardening initiative
