Cultivation

Grow in fertile, well-drained soil. Add grit to clay soils to improve drainage. Plant cloves 2.5cm deep, 15cm apart, 40cm between each row. If planted early, harvest in midsummer when the leaves begin to yellow. Stores well. Well-suited for UK climate.
