C. panzhihuaensis - C. panzhihuaensis is an upright, slow-growing, tender, evergreen perennial with a short, stout, woolly, reddish-brown, trunk-like stem bearing a rosette of large, glossy, pinnate, blue- to grey-green leaves divided into numerous linear leaflets. Cylindrical, yellow to yellow-brown, cone-like male inflorescence and spherical, leafy, female inflorescence appear at the base of mature plants.
