Symptoms

- Defoliation on holly hedges shows wider at the bottom than the top and individual trees also lose their leaves from the bottom upwards. Round spots appear on leaves, which soon drop off. Black lesions on young stems can kill them.

Holly Leaf Blight?

Question from Lisa

Hi, this is a leaf from my Madame Briot holly bush. It's typical of the appearance of the leaves from the bottom of the bush slowly spreading upwards. Can anyone tell me if this is holly leaf blight and if so, what can I do about it? I'm new to gardening so am having to learn as I go along. Thanks
