Tomato blight

Question from Sydney Cann

i had to destroy all my tomato plants this year because of blight. My question is, as I bought a lot of high quality compost to grow them in, do I now have to throw it all away, can I disinfect it ,can I use it on flower beds as a mulch? Syd
