'Crispa Whiteside' _ 'Crispa Whiteside' is a deciduous to semi-evergreen fern producing an erect rhizome bearing shuttlecock-like rosettes of upright, arching, triangular-ovate, tripinnate dark green fronds, yellow-green when new, with crisped, toothed segments. Frond mid-ribs and stalks have conspicuous, dark brown scales with darker centres.
