'Black Pearl' _ 'Black Pearl' is a compact, evergreen shrub with upright, leafy, biennial stems bearing linear to ovate, grey-green leaves and, from early spring into summer, cylindrical cymes of tiny, yellow flowers and conspicuous, black nectar glands surrounded by prominent, green to yellow-green bracts.
