'Thorndale' _ 'Thorndale' is a climbing or trailing, self-clinging, borderline hardy, evergreen shrub bearing small, glossy, triangular, shallowly lobed, black flushed, dark green leaves with pale green veins, the entire leaf bright green when young. On mature plants, clusters of small, yellow-green flowers in autumn are followed by spherical, black fruit.

Cultivation

Suitable for use as a houseplant. If grown outdoors, tolerates a wide range of conditions but performs best in moist but well-drained, alkaline soil in sun or part shade. Shelter from cold drying winds. If grown as a ground cover trailing along the ground, height is approximately 30cm. Pollutant tolerant.
