M. crocea - M. crocea is a tender, mat-forming, woody-based, succulent, evergreen perennial, sometimes grown as an annual, forming a thick, gnarled stem with grey-brown branches bearing fleshy, blunt-tipped, mealy, white-frosted, sometimes purple-flushed, pale to grey-green leaves and daisy-like, yellow, orange, or red flowers in summer.
