'Silver King' is a conical, deciduous tree bearing glossy, grey-green leaves with five pointed lobes and irregular, creamy-white margins, the entire leaf turning shades or orange, purple, and red in autumn. Insignificant greenish-white flowers in spring are followed by spiny, green fruit ripening dark brown.
