'Myrtifolia' is a dense, bushy, conical, slow-growing, evergreen shrub or small tree with red-stalked, elliptic, glossy, dark green leaves and cup-shaped, fragrant, white flowers in early summer followed by cherry-like, red fruit that ripens black.
