'Fastigiata' is a compact, narrowly upright, deciduous tree, broadly conical when mature, with ovate to elliptic, lobed, glossy, dark green leaves that turn yellow-brown in autumn. Clusters of white flowers in late spring are followed by spherical, bright red fruit.
