Magnolia x loebneri 'Leonard Messel' (Magnolia 'Leonard Messel')
'Leonard Messel' is a vigorous, medium-sized, deciduous shrub or small tree, with narrow ovate leaves about 12cm in length. Flowers are lilac-pink and paler in the center with a lovely scent. The flowers grow to 10cm in width, with about twelve narrow tepals, and open before the leaves.

C. scandens is a vigorous, tender, dense, semi-woody, evergreen climber, often grown as an annual, with pinnate leaves, each leaf divided into four oblong to elliptic, dark green leaflets with an accompanying hooked, branched tendril. From summer into autumn, fragrant, bell-shaped flowers open greenish-white and age to purple.
