'Wheeler's Dwarf' is a compact, dense, mound-forming, tender evergreen shrub with ovate, leathery, glossy, dark green leaves, bright green when young, and umbels of small, fragrant, creamy-white flowers in late spring and early summer. Flowers are followed by spherical, yellow-brown capsules containing red seeds.
