Rhododendron vaseyi (Pink-shell azalea)
Other names: Pinkshell azalea
R. vaseyi is an upright, open to irregular, deciduous shrub with oblong to elliptic, glossy, dark green leaves, paler beneath, turning red and purple in autumn. Clusters of broadly funnel-shaped, rose-pink, pale pink, or white flowers bloom in spring before the leaves emerge.
