V. elliotii - V. elliotii is an upright to arching, deciduous shrub with slender stems bearing elliptic to ovate, finely toothed, glossy, dark green leaves turning reddish-purple in autumn. Urn-shaped, white to pink flowers blooming before the leaves emerge are followed by edible, blue-black fruit ripening in midsummer.
